New reading…

… sent by my trusted Californian book-guide.

A morning organising books in the garage-library & cellar.

Leaving shortly for family lunch with Mother-in-Law Barbara, Frank & Nicky.

16.12    A fabbo family lunch. We are in good shape following Beric’s recent flying away, albeit with some tears from time to time. One recent comment to Barbara: I’ve been to weddings that weren’t as much fun as Beric’s funeral.

20.12    More domestic organising around & a visit by local pals, those with ghostly arisings in their home.

Music has continued to entertain us at the back of the house throughout the day, including an Elvis impersonator. Ladies & Gentlemen – Elvis has almost entered the building!

There is a firework display at 21.30, on the other side of the riverbank at the end of the garden.    We plan to view it from the attic.

21.48    Mucho enjoyment from the attic of colourful risings & explosions. A picture doesn’t quite convey the event…

Perhaps employ the imagination?

A wonderful day of the local kind with family & friends.
